Hi,
Sorry to say this but you are so full of it. it's sickening. I have been on the Beatles side for the whole time, and am the only person that can relate to "Revolution #9" because folks here (or elsewhere) can only relate to "songs" that they know and have heard!
It will be a cold day in heck that I say something bad about them, when together, and I find this album very important, and seriously explains each member's desire to try something else which we see in "Let It Be" (the film) and then the band called it a day and night.
But the problem, HERE, is that folks that can not relate to the meanings and situations at the time, will only think of all these things in the album as SONGS and compare them to the ones they know and like. And that means that The BEATLES will look sad and weird and bad, because not enough people can remember, or relate to what the whole thing at the time and place was all about ... on top of it, the same folks don't give a sh*t because for them it's just a song ... and sometimes, the song is not just a song!
But you don't get it, do you?

Sadly, you are so lacking in self-awareness, you are completely oblivious to how much of a pretentious tw*t you sound like.

Try, one of these days, to go back some 50 years, and forget all the "music" that you like, or all the songs, and only play the stuff from that year for 24 hours ... you might learn something ... about "time", "place" and "space" that too many rock fans don't give a damn about! |
You're right. Some of us just don't give a damn. Still, we truly enjoy life as it is, full of songs.

Well I get that you have an extraordinarily high opinion of yourself and a low opinion of everyone else but to say "am the only person that can relate to "Revolution #9" possibly tops the lot.
And I still want to know what "catering to their butt" means.
