Good though The Tall Ships and Blomljud are (and they are very good indeed), Martin Orford's brilliant The Old Road gets my vote. A wonderful swansong for one of the greatest talents in prog.
There are several other very good albums on the list: Mostly Autumn, Marillion, The Tangent and Strawbs.
A TVR is not a car. It's a way of life.

Essence and Liquidity are both gorgeous! Then THS is another poor mish-mash of songs that I just don’t get on with, so as a whole double album it’s way down the Marillion panthen for me….

What are your thoughts?😊

I think it was one of the  last reviews i wrote.
I like the album a lot, not as good as Marbles, but a huge improvement, step forward compared to the previous one - Somewhere Else.
A bit uneven, some songs really stand out, on both parts.
