Ok...not prog, I know, but my iPod played these two back to back this aft and it got me thinking. Which is your favourite of the two? |

I voted for Nazareth, but I also like AC/DC.

This is a great idea! I'm gonna do one of my own in a minute, even though my last poll was completely ignored

But yes, no I can't STAND AC/DC most of the time, and this is like AC/DC's insufferably overplayed song and is sooo boring. This was my first time listening to Nazareth and man do I like a good boogie rock song. Nazareth 100 times for me :)

AC/DC have always been a low voltage band for me, so I'll go with Scottish rockers Nazareth, even though the video is unavailable.

Thunderstruck. Admittedly, it is overplayed, but it's catchy. Also, a very versatile song that can produce various versions in a wide range of musical styles. I have a playlist.

^ ![]() I had better memories of Nazareth and although AC/DC were also rather low voltage to me, I prefer their track here.

Nazareth. Never cared for AC/DC after Bon Scott died.

^ Whole Lot Of Rosie is probably the greatest hard rock song ever so its understandable.
I only know Nazareth by their covers of Love Hurts and My White Bicycle, both memorable when they hit the UK charts back in the 70's. AC/DC are just way overplayed. Recently Planet Rock Radio did a top 80 of all time and AC/DC had about 14 tracks in it or something stupid like that. Nevertheless Queen's Bohemian Rapsody was No 1 with their only entry in the charts!. Sums it up really.

Seen both bands do these songs live and while I'd pick AC/DC of those two performances from the studio versions give me Nazareth.

Nazareth got the vote here, but generally I prefer AC/DC to Nazareth.
But Thunderstruck has always been overplayed (ad nauseam) and also The Razor Edge album was uneven for me, not that good IMO.
