On the day of my creation, I fell in love with education. And overcoming all frustration, a teacher I became.

I guess some people would be curious about this pairing still.

I voted for CTTE but really it could almost go either way. I think for the longest time I would have said Supper's Ready but to be honest I don't like the anticlimatic ending. I think CTTE starts and ends better.

CTTE - just like to see them tied.

I just broke the tie again. Neither of these are among my personal top side-longs/epics, tbh, but I like both fine enough. CTTE has some great moments, but also doesn't have that many things going on for its length. On the other hand, Supper's Ready has more going on, but it feels a bit thrown together and the separate parts don't really form a whole IMO. At the end of the day, CTTE is better I think, but Yes would improve the side-long format on their next two albums. I wonder how these two and Echoes and Tarkus would compete against each other (I'm sure there's other pairings done in the past but I'm too lazy to look for that now).

It is the eternal battle of Yes vs. Genesis; a staple of this site since before I joined and I guess it will be as long as this site/forum lasts. These are two tracks I really like off two albums that never connected with me on the whole. I like the track "Close to the Edge", but "Supper's Ready" is more meaningful to me.
