I'd forgotten just what a wonderful song that is. Thanks for the reminder. ![]() |

Well I’m not disappointed with the REDux. I think it is unique and has its place.
Certainly more in love with “the lockdown sessions. “ That is such a gem musically. Very well done. “The Bravery of being out of range” on that disc is one of the best things he’s done in an extremely long time. |

^ No. But if you don't like Roger Waters, you can choose to see it that way.

Does "Going Solo' mean becoming self-centered ?

This is it! Roger Waters' long-awaited remake of Dark Side of the Moon has finally arrived, celebrating the 50th anniversary of this iconic album. But, dare I say it, Roger's redux version is just a tad disappointing - even by my own low standards of awarding every other prog album a 5-star rating - and where Roger's tired and listless performance gives new meaning to the word "lethargic".

The sublime Live version of Perfect Sense, featuring P.P Arnold and Katie Kissoon on backing vocals.

Yes, The Lockdown Sessions turned out to be much much better than I expected, especially after reading some of the negative comments regarding Roger's reworked version of Dark Side of the Moon, which I've still yet to hear in full. Here's a reminder of Two Suns in the Sunset - my favourite song from The Lockdown Sessions, where it's the two angelic backing singers who really turn the song into something very special indeed. ![]() |

^^ Thanks. This is the place to be to experience positive vibes and let the love flow for Roger's wonderful lifetime of music. I generally avoid the negative Roger Waters threads, of which there are several. They're all just Waters under the bridge to me.

I love the Lockdown Session versions. Almost perfect, and I'm quite disappointed of the DSOTM Redux style in comparison. Would have been awesome to hear DSOTM in Lockdown Session style ...

Still Waters runs deep - so deep in fact that Roger's lovely reworked version of Two Suns in the Sunset runs right into my very heart and soul.

Roger Waters presents The Dark Side of the Moon worldwide concert tour 2006-2008 which has never been released on DVD, so Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun and enjoy it while you can. You know it all makes Perfect Sense, Rodney.

Brilliant news! When the rest of the world was in lockdown during the Covid-19 scare, Roger Waters was busy recording The Lockdown Sessions (with special guests Jonathan Wilson and Dave Kilminster), the aim being to improve on his previous iconic works with Pink Floyd. So how do you improve on a masterpiece you may well ask? Just like this! ![]() ![]() * This outstanding album may have already been featured elsewhere.

![]() At last! Wake up and Smell the Roses because the long wait is over. It's another chance to revisit all of those old Pink Floyd favourites we listened to When We Were Young. Yes, Roger Waters' stunning Us + Them concert finally makes its reappearance on YouTube in its entirety (with special guest Jonathan Wilson), so enjoy it while you can, as it may just as suddenly disappear again One of These Days. ![]() That's my musical entertainment sorted for tonight.

Hardly the full thing was broadcasted The young lady (appointed to social networks watch) only showed a few pictures, but BDC (the host) didn't even get his dates right about the album releases.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |
