1970: Fleetwood Mac - Kiln House - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoIDt_C5y1LtwqhdGko2YJ3VgeRXC6hZn
A transitional album, being the first Fleetwood Mac album without founder member Peter Green and the last album to feature Jeremy Spencer before his abrupt departure for the Children of God religious sect. Kiln House also features Christine McVie on piano and backing vocals, although not yet a full-time member of the band. |

1969: Fleetwood Mac - Boston Blues - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoIDt_C5y1LuhvbXnETJHvVjhA8CkyBYV
Are you going to the Boston Tea Party? The sensational Peter Green band certainly are in one final live performance before Peter Green bowed out of Fleetwood Mac forever. |

1969: Fleetwood Mac - In Chicago - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoIDt_C5y1Lu5Bwm28_AgaFpsGfnoRYYK
Not a live concert in front of an audience, but a studio blues jam at Chess Records in Chicago, featuring the five-piece line-up of Mick Fleetwood, Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, John McVie & Jeremy Spencer. Edited by Psychedelic Paul - April 02 2024 at 11:49 |

1969: Fleetwood Mac - Then Play On - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoIDt_C5y1LsoAo_0V9AIg31BiiytMP0h
Fleetwood Mac's third studio album and the first to feature Danny Kirwan. Then Play On features the single "Rattlesnake Shake" (including a surprise appearance by Hugh Hefner), but sadly, doesn't include Peter Green's "Oh Well", "Man of the World", or "The Green Manalishi" (at least not until the 2013 remaster). Oh Well, C'est La Vie. Edited by Psychedelic Paul - April 01 2024 at 06:27 |

1969: Fleetwood Mac - The Pious Bird of Good Omen - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoIDt_C5y1LvBVNZzhMA-1Ewg1ifU1k0u
Not a studio album, but a compilation of non-album singles and b-sides and well-worth buying just for the following two classics alone. Edited by Psychedelic Paul - March 31 2024 at 04:14 |

1968: Fleetwood Mac - Mr. Wonderful - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nvBtOHBnNxu05IhZGFnVz3qM4N-04xKuA The same core line-up as the first album, consisting of Mick Fleetwood, Peter Green, John McVie and Jeremy Spencer, with the added attraction of Christine Perfect McVie featuring as a guest musician for the first time on a Fleetwood Mac album. Mr. Wonderful continues with the bluesy tradition of the debut album, but features a less-than-wonderful album cover of a naked Mick Fleetwood, although the associated English Rose album cover wasn't just Bad - it was Even Worse! Album’s don’t come much more classic than Rumours. Not just for the music, but the whole story of how they managed to make something so good despite all the “domestic” issues going on. It’s timeless😎 |

I think every Fleetwood Mac albums is flawed (but I could say the same about Genesis) - even Rumours. And some of their best material ended up as singles only (or B-sides like Silver Springs). BUT I think people unable to enjoy some truly heartfelt, well composed and downright stunning AOR are missing out. sl*g.ing off a period that gave us timeless classics such Landslide, Rhiannon, Dreams, Gold Dust Woman, Storms, Sara, Gypsy and many more as commercial junk... Well, it just makes me feel sorry for that person really.

I guessed Rumours would be #1. I'm surprised the Mirage album only has 13 points so far though.

Rumours No. 1 ?! I can't think of a more overrated album in all of 70s rock!

I only just realised Stevie Nicks is topless on the cover of the Buckingham Nicks album, although she's probably wearing knickers.

Hi,
My choices would not have the overblown _____ on the albums! I prefer the Christine McVie and earlier periods. The later stuff was over blown commercial junk!

Certainly. I think the only place you can locate his solo albums in full, is on youtube. I think they are all better than most of the Fleetwood Mac albums he was on (except Then Play On). From: Rumours 4.00 to: Heroes Are Hard to Find 4.00 -there's at least half a star in difference. Maybe 4.25 - 3.75 is closer to how I feel.

I'm looking forward to listening to all of these Fleetwood Mac-related albums again, including Danny Kirwan's first recorded work with Fleetwood Mac below, which you may recall. |
