Just that I'm a bigger fan of Yes and Genesis but the two choices available are not my favourites by them . Camel's first 4 albums are as good as any bands first four albums to be fair but then I lose interest. I do have Rajaz but never quite got the love for that one. Rain Dances also not quite at the same level as the first four imo. |

The Yes Album, ahead of Nursery Cryme, followed by the Camel debut.
Nursery Cryme has some great tracks and "The Musical Box" is one of my Genesis favourites, but The Yes Album has got "Starship Trooper", which is one of my all time favourites, so it has to be The Yes Album.

This is a strange one cause I think The Yes Album and Nursery Cryme are probably better albums, but given the choice between the 3 I would be reaching for Camels debut first I think.

The Yes album versions of Disgrace and Trooper are possibly the most unfavourable versus their live versions of my entire prog collection....Wakeman on the KTA is probably my favourite moog solo of all time...so I went for The Cryme....innit 😎

Almost impossible choice between Cryme and Album, but today my spirit feels closer to TYA

Of these 3 groups, YES is my least favorite, but the Yes album is my choice

It says I already voted and I can't remember what I voted, but presumably Nursery Cryme. At least, of the three, that's what I would vote for today. Camels have four legs, but how many legs do Genesises and Yeses have? Oh... and beep beep!

Genesis started with 10 legs but in the end there were just 6.

I guess as you get older some of the legs fall off. Whoops.

I mean they started as a quintet and ended as a trio.

The Yes Album. I love Camel but their next five albums are all better than the debut. Never could get into Genesis.

Camel not even in the running imo compared to the other two. I loved Nursery Crime when I first heard it but honestly rarely ever think of it, other than sometimes remembering 'Music Box' and 'Fountain of Salmacis'. Yes Album, though, is still classic front to back for me, 17 years after I first heard it.
