Bring Out the Danish!

THE CONQUERING LIGHT OF FLORA AND FAUNA     This Danish duo were The Hive of activity back in 2009, coming up with one of the most energetic Post Rock albums you're ever likely to hear, which has been variously described as "forceful minimalism" or "useless structures coerced into a romantic sequence of misunderstandings." I prefer the first description. 

CULPEPER'S ORCHARD       There's some tasty fruits that are just ripe for the picking in Culpeper's Orchard, so stick around, there's plenty more Danish treats still to come. 

DANEFAE      A unique-sounding Folk Metal band (Yes, there really is such a genre), featuring the beautiful siren-song call of Anne Oleson, blessed with a charming voice that's powerful enough to lure sailors to their doom, and also featuring a badass guitarist (Anders Morgensen) whose ferocious bone-crushing riffs give the impression he's on loan from Dream Theater. 

DAY OF PHOENIX     A Psychedelic Rock band who burned briefly but brightly after rising from the ashes of Burnin' Red Ivanhoe. 

DR. DOPO JAM      Hot Rats and Holy Mothers of Invention! Only Fat Dogs & Danishmen make funky Jazz-Rock sound as good as this. Dr. Dopo Jam are to Denmark what Frank Zappa is to the rest of the western world, only this band's output sounds far better than anything Zappa has ever done, sounding more like a Jazzy jam band from Heaven, instead of Jazz from Hell - although I already know every Frank Zappa fan out there is going to disagree with me, again. 

DRAGONTEARS     Here be Dragons! Three cheers for Dragontears, a Neo Psychedelic/Space Rock band from Copenhagen who started off well enough, but then released their deliberately offensive third album, which I've had to censor to spare my blushes. 

As far as I can tell, they're not just samples, but full-length songs in mp3 format. I think some of them duplicate your YouTube links. I haven't had the time I need to give this band a proper listen, but with a discography of over 50 albums, the task seems a little overwhelming at the moment. Anyway, good luck!

EDENA GARDENS      Edena Gardens sounds like an upmarket address in a salubrious part of town, but it's actually the name of a Space Rock supergroup, consisting of a trio of the best-known Danish musicians no one outside of Denmark has ever heard of. 

ENTRANCE       A tasty Danish confection promising a profusion of Jazz Fusion, but to avoid confusion, it's worth knowing there's at least two other prog bands with the same name. In conclusion, Entrance are pretty good as Jazz Fusion bands go, sounding like a Danish bright and breezy version of Weather Report instead of a stormy gale, so there's no need to head for the Exit before it rains.
