QVL, although I think their second album is better. QVL because you asked for "favorite" as opposed to "best/greatest" in which case probably the Banco in this pool. While I know some here disagree, I will always feel one can have that distinction that your favorite is not always what you would point to as best/greatest.

The Bartocetti stuff used to turn my crank. Not so much anymore. Very much a niche thing. If you're into the haunted house sh*t, it's cool.

It's hard to separate a "best album" from a favourite album, so they're usually the same thing for me, but objectively speaking, "The Winstons" is one of the best Canterbury Scene albums I've ever heard and Jacula's "Tardo Pede in Magiam Versus" is one of the strangest albums I've ever heard, so count me in for more of Bartocetti's creepy haunted house of horror schtick.

RPI has never been my pint of brew. I've heard the Banco and Goblin, but all rated three stars or above? You know Paul, I like your two star rated albums the best.

The only two-star Italian albums I could find were all by Area, so it was an easy decision to drop them from the poll in favour of Antonius Rex.

Have you tried Nuova Era? Give Il Passo del Soldato (their masterwork) and the more recent Return to the Castle a whirl.

Sensation's Fix is a special album that has been an eternal companion. Music is painting in the air :)
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.
