I do think Man-Erg is a better song, but House with No Door is more strictly a ballad and a great one at that.

Man-erg is ranked #3 in my top 5 of VdGG songs, so it gets my vote. Pilgrims is my second choice from this list, Undercover Man third. However, all of these five are excellent.

Man-erg is my favourite song from the list but it is neither gentle nor a ballad. House With No Door is my second favourite on the list and it is a gentle ballad so it gets my vote.
