Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso
From England.. a famed dark progressive classic!
Comus!!!
Rockin from the USofA Rockit this is NOT!

As I expected from a RPI band, Darwin features some damn original music and some pretty emotional moments, every keyboards irruption is pure delight throughout the whole album. Interesting 'marionette' theatrical moments in 'Miserere Alla Storia', as I found in Goblin's 'Il Fantastico Viaggio Del Bagarozzo Mark'. Another original track indeed is 'Ed Ora Io Domando Tempo Al Tempo...' - beautiful 'carrousel' sweet and lovely melody under a genuine baroque atmosphere. The weak track I found there is 'Danza Dei Grandi Rettili' (which is maybe a highlight for who loves prog fusion).
My fave tune is perhaps 'La Conquista Della Posizione Eretta' for its thriling atmosphere, it brings me a resemblance with the mood of Lalo Schifrin's 'Mission Impossible' theme, btw a damn good artist, I guess it is a GREAT idea to dig into his discography Darwin all the way through.

Banco will win easily this one and so I'm voting for Comus.
same here.. except I'm voting for Kew Rhone
Banco has always been my least favorite of the big 6, and this album, though the obvious choice for the contest isn't even close to my favorite album. Oh it is damn good.. but it just didn't click like many other albums did.

It wasn't me. At least, not yet. Once again: clappies for including Kew Rhone . But I haven't decided yet.
