Have always been curious as to what age are my PROG peers. I myself, can  be found in the 55+ ( Thou I still think of myself as being 18 ). I know there are some other ancients out there, but would like to know…Proggers, how old are you?

I'm 53, I have joined PA 10 years ago and I see myself as "experienced sixteen".

I would expect to see the majority of members in the 50-65 age range, as for the most part we are talking about the music we first heard as teenagers - and that's always the best music, right?
 
It's wonderful to see all age ranges though. And I'm a little jealous because it would be so brilliant to be hearing all this stuff for the first time again.

I'll be 58 in two weeks, and I'm planing a big proggy party in my house. Even my wife will attend she said, maybe to keep us from burning the house.

64 in body (and beginning to feel it) but 18 mentally. I still have my long blond proggers locks and no amount of cajoling by my political party will make me get my hair cut. I do wonder if I'm the longest haired councillor in Britain.

If so, it has to share the honour with at least two other similar polls. But none of us are getting any younger and active members come and go, so a poll like this makes some sense once in a few years. I passed into another age category between the previous poll and this one.

Still can't vote (I guess I'm not getting on here often enough!).

I'm in the 30+ category, FWIW.  I grew up with a father who liked some prog, and I've taken it upon myself to explore a little more.

Much more spread than I thought. Just in the 15+ bracket, but there should be another one lower for people like floflo.

Agreed, mainly due to the fact that I got into prog when I was about eight. I used to get weird looks from people when I wore a Larks' T-shirt everywhere.
