Hard to choose indeed, a lot of great music here. I'll have to think a lot before I can vote.

I'm actually not into most of these bands...but I'll vote for Gam, I love that album.

Out of these choices, definitely Neu!, followed very closely by Ash Ra Tempel. The first two Tangerine Dream albums, along with Klaus Schulze's Cyborg, Cluster's Cluster 71, and Faust's The Faust Tapes would all have a pretty good chance of beating Neu!

This is my kind of music!...which again makes this poll rather difficult. If I could I'd vote for Rubycon, In den Gärten Pharaos, Tanz der Lemminge, Future Days, NEU!, Tarot and Düsseldorf...but I can't...sooo...ermm

I give it to Tanz der Lemminge but between this and Monster Movie and Rubycon it's only the mood of the day that decides.

What kind of a madman would torture his forum mates to vote for only one album of these masterpieces?!
Today, I'll go with Ash Ra Tempel, but Rubycon, In den Gärten Pharaos, Tanz der Lemminge, Phallus Dei, NEU!, Lord Krishna Von Goloka, and Kanguru follow very closely. If it was an option, I would have voted for Musik von Harmonia, which is probably my favorite non-jazz German album at the moment. |

My kind of music too. Too much to love here to make any sort of definitive choice, but sometimes I let polls chooose which music I decide to put on. Right now I'm particularly in the mood for Sergius Golowin's Lord Krishna Von Goloka (has the added bonus of being an album I love that rarely gets mentioned).

^Haven't spun that one in a long time. Perfect for a little night time music with a view from my window of black and almost blue fields.

so many great albums; hard to choose. I don't know "Eiszeit" (I actually never heard of GAM) and I never liked "La Düsseldorf". I will go with "Känguru" this time

these are mostly Krautrock, which I'm not crazy about. But I have not heard most of them. And I don't particularly like any of the ones I've heard. So no vote
