Hi Octamarium,

Welcome to the forum... we hope you enjoy it.

Do you like Mind Key?  I have Journey Of A Rough Diamond, and I think it's great (a bit like DT)!

I ask, because I believe they are also from Napoli...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

well.....I don't know if Mind Key are from Naples.....I've got their album and I like it so much!!

I think they've got something of early 90's Dream theater (Images and words era!!!!)......so they're not too original but they sound great!

I know for sure that Marco Sfogli, who plays guitar on the last James Labrie's solo album (Element of persuasion), is from Caserta (a city near napoli)....and I'm proud of this!!!

Thanks a lot for welcoming me!!!

I'm a die hard DT's fan.....I'm an Italian Dreamer (italian fan club).....well, the music behind Octavarium's lyrics? I think you've already said all...but now I've not the lyrics here in my hand....so....I'm not sure!

By the way...I love James's singing......I think he's one of the most powerful singers in the fu**ing world!!!!

And I approve you when you say that Metropolis Pt2 is better (not so far, but better) than I&W!!!!

yeah! labrie is one of my favorite singers, the second would be hansi kursh from blind guardian and demons and wizards. you should get some of their music if you havent yet. try nightfall at the middle earth album or night at the opera (blind guardian). i wish i could be in DT fan club but these things are too expensive for me im a die hard fan of DT too. they got me into prog

Welcome to the forum, be warned that some people around here seem to have it out for Dream Theater. Personally I'm a big fan but Rush is the truth.

What could I say?? I don't like it

I like Rhapsody, but I'm not crazy for them!My cousin (here in this forum he is Bartvarium....he's copied my nick, damn) goes mad for their music!I like Power of the dragonflame and Symphony of...(the first)........the rest I think is merely a copy of themselves!!However I know that they have made more concerts out of Italy than inside (one date each tour...in Milan of course)

They're so different songs!Sincerely, I don't know which to choose....however I think that Octavarium is one of the most beautiful epics ever written (with Close to the edge and Supper's ready)!Change of season is a classic, but in this moment I prefer Octavarium!!
