I have not heard of many of these bands you have stated. I'm going to have to look into a lot of these post-rock bands But There are two psychedlic bands which I think are definately worth the mention. Bardo Pond - Have only just discovered this band and have been very impress. I have Ticket Crystals and Volume III (I'm not sure which albums are supposed to be their best). Both of which contain some great experimental psychedelic PROG. For me personally I think they are prog, but it will be interesting to see what other people think. Boris - I have been listening to this band for a long time and would truely love to see them on this site. They have such and varied catalogue, of the highest standards. So in short I think they would be a great addition to the site. Have not really had any experience with the other bands. I have come across the band Circle before, they were likened to the band Cerberus Shoal. Do they play a similar form of music? What is their sound like?

Regarding Bardo Pond.
I have heard several of their albums, and at first I was convinced they shold be here, but over the time I came to realize that their sound isn't as complex and prohg as I initially thuoght. It is more an alternative rock sound than something else. If I were to vote, I'd rule them out of PA. But I like them very much and think highly of their albums I have.
But again, this is a matter of more debate, and other people are encouraged to put their input and thouhgts on the matter.

BTW, which Circle do you mean Anael? Is it the Finnish Cirle? If so, they will be added to PA (sorry this takes time but Jimbo -who want to add them- and I have so much to add and do other than this).

If it is the Humus I have heard once, than yes, it should be in, Anael.
Guillermo, what do you think?

They have already been rejected by the post-rock team.
But I'll ask Bryan to add the missing bands to the post-rock chart.
Mono will be added here in the near future.

Only came across two of their albums the other week and have not really had an in depth listening experience yet. From what I have heard I like them a lot, very spacy sort of music. I can see what you mean about the complexity, I can see a lot disputes arising about this band as there sound is very boarderline. Not what most would call traditional progressive sound.

I don't think BSS should be here, I'll add the other bands to the post-rock chart though. Mono will be added in due time, we've cleared them.

Have been listening to "Hanged Up" over the last few days. And I can say I they have a lot of potenital. The classification of this band is very hard while they have roots in Post-Rock they are quite experiment and retain a lot of Avant-garde influences. They are a two piece band performing some intense and complex songs, with some very interesting polyrhythms coming from the drummer! I think these guys would be a great additon to the site!

I'll ask Bryan to add them to the chart. I fail to see Mew's connection to post-rock, though.

I don't see it either, they always just seemed like an indie rock band to me.

Well, Animal Collective and Zombi are definitely experimental/post-rock. Zombi may actually fit under Space Rock or Electronic though. Mew, on the other hand does have a very atmospheric sound to them, but not necessarily characteristic of post-rock. Still, I think Mew bears prog elements, and are a lot more intelligent/complex than what you may see on the surface. Prog-Related at least.

Zombi are definitely are a Prog band, I'm not sure which genre though. Could always just put them under Prog-Related.
