Scenes from a memory: Metropolis part II and The Edge (Eternity X)  are  the best metal albums ever recorded. Ever.

There are few masterpieces, but Sieges Even album, though it's not really metal, is the most incredible of them.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to choose Dream Theater, but out of the choices provided... Dream Theater.
 
And I've heard The Sham Mirrors, it's easily my number three or four on the list. Amazing!
