Well, 3 months ago you weren't even into Zappa! So, yeah, I'm still shocked and glad with your tastes broadening to jazz territory Smile

I 100% owe my recent jazz rock interest to Mr. Zappa. I wouldn't have even rented any Billy Cobham or Herbie Hancock from the library if it wasn't for my interest in Hot Rats, Over-Nite Sensation, and Roxy & Elsewhere.

Zappa is the man! CoolClap

I 100% owe my recent jazz rock interest to Mr. Pablo. I wouldn't have even rented any Billy Cobham or Herbie Hancock from the library if it wasn't for my interest in Hot Rats, Over-Nite Sensation, and Roxy & Elsewhere.

Remember to tell me what you think of Spectrum! I'll be expecting a review Wink

Also, if you like Tommy Bolin's guitar playing on that(one of my favorite guitarists), you might want to check the Deep Purple featuring him: Come Taste the Band. A very funky, hard rocking album.

I may check that out... the only Deep Purple album I have is Fireball, which doesn't impress me very much.

Anyway, I just bought these:

Yup, that is indeed my first Pendragon album. Approve I've slowly been purchasing some of the recommendations in this thread (http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=65831&PN=1), which is quite the daunting task! LOL
