You got suckered into paying for some modern music. Pay a bit more attention next time and do make sure your money only goes to real artists.

Walter, please stop being a troll. We get it. You don't like post 1989 music, or whatever the hell your cutoff is. I'm sick of reading bullsh*t posts like this from you... Unhappy

Anyway, I just bought these albums at dirt cheap prices:

(I got this Metallica CD to replace some old MP3's... I think I'll try giving this album another shot)

And I received this in the mail as a promo (and it's a retail copy!):

Hi,

Nice to see folks picking up Klaus Schulze, and even the earlier Tangerine Dream ... they have been staples in my own heart and collections for almost 40 years now ... the one worth getting, though some will get bored is the Tangerine Dream's Phaedra 35th anniversary concert ... it was nice to see the old stuff played on new stuff, and still sound good ... some folks are going to get bored though ... but that is normal for Tangerine Dream concerts if you don't learn to close your eyes and just trip with the music!

My latest? ... already played it like 3 times in a row ... Ukab Maerd ... by two of the Djam Karet folks and what a massive treat and listen it is ... I have not been so excited and enjoyed a listen since Fripp & Eno's Evening Star and some other original "ambient" sounding things ... it is really beautiful and classy and shows guts, in this metronomic age that is afraid to improvise and just play ... without a beat or some kind of a metronome.  I would have even told the guys that they didn't have to let go of the other instruments, and they could have used drums or bass, just not in a conventional way like most bands ... think back to their piece called "dark clouds, no rain" but softer and much more intricate inside ... and smoother. Truly magnificent work and my best album of the year for this year! And for once ... no song structures ... I'm in heaven!
