it was a real possibilty and probably would have happened if Cozy had turned it down. Phillips wanted it but was I assume not considered a big enough name. Shame as it would have been something special as you say. Phillips was well tuned to prog as evidenced by his work with Oldfield. Cozy did a good job but was not musically the right 'fit' imo.

You can say that again. All of E,L, & Powell (God rest his soul) was a little off, for that matter.
