Went with Script, but I much prefer Tales From The Lush Attic by IQ from that year....

Marillion. Mucous trees are not the same as grass planets but they are the same as other types of buckets.

Four years ago, it would've been an easy choice of Steve Hackett, but that was before listening to all of Marillion's albums, and so, it's another vote for Marillion from me too.

Don't normally disagree with myself but Script is a great album and I like it. IQ's album Tales From The Lush Attic is better by a smidgeon (IMO) but not by a lot. Both are worthy.

Not the most attractive choice for me. I do like Belew and Hackett, but these are nowhere near their strongest work. I have never connected so well to Marillion. Adrian Belew's album wins just about.

Marillion was nailed after Grendel for being a Genesis clone but the masterpiece SFAJT proves the band its strong own musical ideas, still goose bumps with Chelsea Monday and Forgotten Sons after all those years, since the LP release in early 1983!

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson
