Songs you hate by bands you love...

It was a slight remix of the title track of White Eagle. I don't think it brought them anywhere near as much moola as scoring for the big US flicks like Risky Business (Edgar initially turned it down because he read the script and thought it sucked but then took the gig at his agent's behest — he asked for more money and the studio agreed.)

I'm surprised you dislike it that much. It's a little on the vanilla side, but it's hardly the worst thing they ever recorded. I don't dislike anything recorded by that particular line-up, but diff'rent strokes, as they say.

P.S. The other Tatort tracks they supplied were brilliant!

It may well be that had this been the first track I heard from an unknown band, I'd have said that this is OK and there's so much worse out there. But from the mighty Tangerine Dream? Expectations expectations...
