I had a couple of NWA records on tape in my highschool days, kinda likked it, but then rap got crappier and more commercial (MC hammer, vanilla Ice, will smith) so I reformed again to traditional rock music.

I'm always almost unlucky _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Id5ZcnjXSZaSMFMC Id5LM2q2jfqz3YxT

I would argue that my taste in Music is far wider than Three Fates who only listens to ELP/Floyd from what iv'e gathered from her posts!

I maybe wrong !

But,  I have listened to Death-Speed Metal and Rachmaninov Piano Concerto's in the same session - How eclectic is that !

Arh, I was going to burn the Arsenal/Chelsea Game for viewing later (with a cup of brandied hot choccy) I'll still do it knowing the score !.

P.S

Working Man is a Sabbath-like slow heavy piece and is indeed excellent !

I was thinking more of Napalm-death / Rachmaninov.......

don't worry it was free and no second hand store will take it off my hands... but it's very presence in my record collection makes me truly eclectic - tho no necessarily in a good way

^ I agree. Without maani, almost any members list is incomplete. Max and Cert are essential as well, IMAO.

How about a contest? List 5-10 albums you own that you think indicate your eclecticism (or eclecticalism ).

Penderecki : Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima

Messian : Quator Pour La Fin du Temps

Squiban : Molene

Stockhausen : Gesang Der Junglinge

Schoenberg : Pierrot Lunaire

Miles Davis : Bitches Brew

Rakhmaninov : Cello Concerto

Franz Ferdinand : Franz Ferdinand

Metallica : Master of Puppets

Kraftwerk : The Man Machine

(I ought to give a special mention to my collection of Burning Spear, AC/DC, Mozart, John Mayall, Savoy Brown, Smiths, Slayer, On-U Sound System, Roni Size and Blue Cheer albums... )

(I missed out a whole load of other stuff, like Sex Pistols, Damned, Stanglers, Motorhead, Raven, Barbra Streisand, Donna Summer, ELO, Dire Straits, White Stripes, Strokes, Rammstein, Linkin Park, SOAD, Killswitch Engage, Jefferson Airplane, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, Bert Kaempfert, Glenn Miller, Beethoven, Grieg, Mahler, Verdi, Paganini...).

(and then there's...)
