Strictly speaking, PC could qualify under the prog related banner. It would however be a highly controversial move for the site, and not one we're inclined to take at this time.

Mike wrote very few albums, but Smallcreeps Day is a Prog conceptual album, I don0't like it but it's Prog, Mike & The Mechanics haven't been added, maybe his inclusion is a bit forced

Tony: A Curious Feeling is Prog, so in Prog Related he's OK.

Steve Hackett: What???? Steve Hackett is a 100% Prog artist, he's the only ex-Genesis member that remains faithful to Prog:
  1. Voyage of the Acolyte
  2. Please Don't Tuch
  3. Spectral Mornings
  4. Defector
  5. Bay of Kings
  6. Guitar Noir
  7. Genesis Revisited
  8. Tokyo Tapes
  9. Darktown
  10. To Watch the Storms
  11. Wild Orchides

Are 100% Prog albums, there's no doubt about this, the rest of his albums have moments of Prog but incredible quality, you can't put his name in the same phrase as Phil Collins, unless you're talking abut Genesis.

Thanks God you didn't LOL

The Peter Gabriel solo albums are much more related to prog than the Phil Collins albums ... in fact Collins has the reputation of being responsible for the downfall of prog by turning Genesis into a pop group. Surely Gabriel wrote some pop hits too ... but they were much more artistic ... I'd call them "Art Pop". And I don't think that there'll be any rap versions of Gabriel's hits ... Wink

How could you possibly make a rap version of "Sledgehammer" for startersWink

Sorry to disagree but I recently heard an atrocious pop version of "Red Rain" from SO, by one of those prom-rock bands... so Gabriel has sold his music, too. Cry

You can turn *any* song into Rap by simply removing 90% of the musical content, adding a simple beat and finishing it off with some "uh, yeah, come on" samples.LOL

Chioose your words Markos Wink

More implies there are already some and Phil doesn't have a single prog NOTE in his solo career.

And please, foir the tarter, comparing PG with PC is a blasphemy.

PG1, PG2 and PG3 are Prog

His last works are at least Prog Related, so he  deserves to be in Prog Related in the worst scenario.

Well I feel like requesting Michael Bolton later on.

And let's forget about people like Yma Sumac or Kiyomi Otaka and focus on the epitome of anti-prog, as Phil Collins is.
