I remember years ago I had a song called Acid Flood by Mogwai.  I played the hell out of that song and thought it was incredible,  I haven't heard the name since.  Recomendations?

Well, Acid Food is off of "Mr. Beast", which is the first album by them I ever listened to. If you liked that track, it's a good bet that you will enjoy the whole album. So "Mr. Beast" is my recommendation.

Personally, I think Happy Songs is my favorite, with Mr. Beast behind. CoDY was rather lacking and Young Team was quite good. I need to get The Hawk is Howling, I've heard some good things and played a song on my radio show that was very good.

Figured I'd get back to this.  I have gotten Mr Beast recently and am listening through it right now.  Great album, thanks for the reccomendation.

never was big on mogwai even as a post rock fan. the earlier comment of "inoffensive" is pretty spot on. its pretty and happy songs is certainly very enjoyable but nothing close to a masterpiece. its just... nice.

If you're looking for offensive Mogwai Mike, get Young Team, very different from Happy songs, and one of the greatest bass albums I own. Play it really loud too!

I'm pretty upsest right now, Mr. Beast has been my album of choice to sleep to for the last month or so.

Great band, one of my faves.
The new album kicks ass too.
Somewhere out of a memory of lighted streets on quiet nights...
