I haven't really gotten into Nostradamus yet but Judas Priest is still rockin' like they always have. I'm sure they have another 10 years at least.
I saw them rock out to a few of these songs the summer after this came out. Sounded pretty good, though I remember that the record had a more synth-layered feel to it.
I saw them on the same tour as you did (I think). The songs they played from Nostradamus sounded very good live but as you said, nothing special on the record. They played the entire British Steel album plus a whole lot more. David Coverdale had larangitus so Whitesnake only played 3 songs.
I think we all saw the same tour....Agree, they only played like 2-3 songs from this album. Albeit sounded very good, I've seen the Priest a couple other times, they are very good live. Back in the day the fastest guitars on stage.
I actually like this album...but 100% must be listened to from start to finish. I must admit it took me probably 10 listens to finally "let it play thru..." and I kinda got it. Agree at least another 2-3 albums in them...hopefully.
