Haven't been here in a bit and I'd love to drop in and say 'hi' to everyone here and hope all is well.
Have a Saturday morning to myself.

Fates Warning-- No Exit ( 25th Ann Ed. )
Zombi-- Shape Shift
Iron Maiden-- X Factor ( this is moving up the latter more and more each year for favorite maiden albums. Audio Engineering is insanely good as well. Even better than Metallica's Black album. )
Pet Shop Boys-- Behaviour ( OP 1990)
Ghost-- ceremonies and Devotion (live 2017)
Genesis-- Invisable touch ( OP 1986)
Devin Townsend-- Transendence ( what a great album!)

...more to come. I've got the day and my system can take it! :)
Gimmie my headphones now!!! 🎧🤣

Since Saturday:

Asgard - Tradition & Renouveau
Rick Wakeman - Six Wives
Amon Düül II - Carnival in Babylon
Jorge Palma - Quarto Minguante
Peter Baumann - Repeat Repeat

Oh, see, I totally knew I was going to screw up that surname, seems like I wasn't too close either! There was a clip of that Thorsten album on Youtube (think it might have been taken down), but I'm all confused. It ran for about 55 minutes, my CD ripped to 66 minutes, there's a shorter vinyl version that removes several tracks (grrrrr), and there's a digital download version that adds four more tracks!

Funny about `Carnival in Babylon', that's an Amon Duul album I can never remember a second of until I play it!

Is `Trespass' warming on you at all?

*****

Anyway, here was my choices tonight:

Pink Floyd – Obscured by Clouds
Nova – Wings of Love
Memoriance – Et Apres
Broselmaschine – s/t (Such a great gentle Krautrock album, sounds like a folkier Amon Duul in parts)
Amon Duul 2 – Yeti
Camel – Live Hammersmith Odeon 14/4/1976
Badger – One Live Badger
Rush - Fly By Night
Stomu Yamash’ta – Man from the East

Steve Roach & Michael Shrieve – The Leaving Time
Steve Roach – Molecules of Motion
Cosmic Ground – IV (only listened to the first half, Sam, but it’s superb. As you mentioned, much tighter pieces, and it’s unexpectedly quite dark as well).

Hello everyone...haven't been on for a few weeks, sorry for lack of communication with anyone. Hope ya'll are well.

Anyway, here's what I'd last been listening to from a few weeks back and recently:

The Beatles – Magical Mystery Tour
The Beach Boys – MIU Album (Lightweight but lovely album from them)
The New Trolls – s/t (a compilation of singles from 1967-1970, hardly anything proggy, but a fine and easy to enjoy collection of psych pop/acid rock tunes)
Santana – Lotus (first LP only)
The Old Man and the Sea – s/t
Iron Maiden – No Prayer for the Dying
Steve Roach – Origins (gorgeous hypnotic tribal/electronic work)
Ajna – An Era of Torment
Alio Die – Kalisz Concert
Sound of Contact – Dimensionaut
Riverside – Love, Fear and the Time Machine
Spock’s Beard – Feel Euphoria
Mystery – The World is a Game
Glass Hammer – Lex Rex
Twin Age – Lialim High

Numina – The Chroma Plateau
Thought Guild – Context
Thought Guild – Archiphonic (nice new compilation)
Thorsten Quanschning (I’m sure I spelt that wrong ) – Cargo (utterly superb dark and dramatic electronic album from the Tangerine Dream member)
Steve Roach – Molecules of Motion (stunning new album)
Steve Roach – Dreamtime Return (nice to finally catch up on one of his early classic releases)
