Yes, Rush brought new meaning to the word fashion. And still proud of it 45 years later!

Bell Bottoms & Boots, Genesis (except Gabriel) were never a band to display any sense of fashion, except for Steve Hackett who was a little more conscious of that.

Compared to Yes my other favorite group Genesis were very subdued in their fashion---Steve was the exception a few times---but Yes really had costume designers, etc---Genesis never did except for Peter of courseWink

I really dig the 70s English fashion sense. I love the classy coat and matching pants. It's the sort of attire I'd wear playing on stage (if that day ever comes!) and even out and about if I ever start seriously caring about my fashion :P

The keyboard players seemed to have the look I liked. To single one out, John Tout always had the look I liked. Here's a poor screenshot of him playing live in 1977 - unfortunately there's not much to work with.

I don't know. I just LOVE those coats... and robes and stuff.

A man I'm not entirely familiar with, but what I am - I quite like. And he looks GOOD. Greg Lake

Finally, I can't forget these guys...

While digging for a nice photo of Hackett I can't find, I found this gem of a picture of them in 1975. Fashion here is QUITE scattered. I love the style Gabriel has here and Steve isn't bad either if his hair wasn't blowing in the wind :) trench coat fits Mike well too. Tony and Phil kinda have that regular look as usual. Funny picture too, Tony and Pete are being mean! :D

I'm with you on the jacket & pants!  GREAT look back in the day!  John Wetton, Andy Powell, many others had that cool, laid-back British look!
