^I believe also the same ones I didnīt like also. Those folk elements were better in that first Los Jaivas-album.

If so, then perhas I do should check out some more Jaivas. Then, you might want to check out Flor de Loto too. A newer band from Peru, also on this poll. It's kind of more hard rocking too, and because of the flute they remind me a bit of Jethro Tull, but with a more prehispanic flavor.

I got too much great music to listen, too little time. Also newer band with more hardrock approach doesnīt sound interesting.

If the OP had put RU Kaiser as one of the trio for Chile, I would have voted for that.  Without them, I went with Peru because I have more Flor De Loto albums than any other of the listed band.

Yeah, I know. I got lucky with Flor de Loto, and one day I happened to see they had a copy of a new live album from them at the music store I visit regularly, so I just got it... otherwise I might not have heard them yet. But yes, I also have too much music I'm interested in checking out.
