Greg Lake, then Annie Haslam, Bowie and Jon Anderson
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

This.

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

- Peter Gabriel (his raspy voice was the hallmark of Genesis and then of his solo albums until "Us")
- Jon Anderson (Yes would not have been Yes without his compositions and above all without his angelic voice).
- David Gilmour (Pure feeling, very much contrasted with Roger Waters' hardened voice).
- Greg Lake (He had a tone of voice that, when he wasn't singing in pop ballad mode (Love Beach), was unsurpassed)

Non-progressive (Apologies for the inclusion but I had to consider it).
---------------------
- Eddie Vedder (The Pearl Jam singer's deep voice is one of the best live vocals I've seen and heard, especially in the 2000s. Spectacular)
