Well forget about me wanting to be presidient... I like Danbo's scenario better... I wholeheartenly prefer to be kneeling in front of Greg Lake.....swallowing nothing but the spunk of Ra..... yeah, Baby!!

Funnily enough that was exactly the role I had in mind for you if I'm elected El PresWink

After thinking...Oh my god threefates, that was so crude, you come over and top her! ...in crudeness by the way...so no jokes on topping her you sick pervs.

Hey... Danbo came up with that one... I was just appreciating it!!  And the thought of Reed topping me probably sent you out on a heavy mission at your local gay bar... now didn't it??!!

Advertising threads. Arguing. Clashes of egos and personalities. Pointless polls. Soft-core porn. Old guard dwindling, & posting less and less. A lack of moral leadership....

Why am I still here? Show me to the fun. Confused

When the nature of man's existence goes through a period of change, many will be asking themselves "what now?". It is a permissible response to mourn a beloved past, or through one's actions attempt to maintain or resurrect the spirit of that which has passed. It is equally permissible to submit to the inevitability of change, and the novel possibilities which come to present themselves. For those to whom neither resistance or acceptance is an option, only one role remains: that of the outsider.

- from the collected works of James Lee, chapter 11

No, I'm not gone, though sometimes I do get fed up with the feuding, and the frequent seeming lack of concern for the feelings of others. (I have been guilty too....) Still, it is a sunny day now, and things always look better to me in the sober light of day, with my wife and cheerful kids awake as well....Smile

Ermm James, that is a thought-provoking and encouraging thought. ClapThe only minor error preventing the prof from awarding your efforts an A+ is the double punctuation at the end of your first sentence. Lose the period, immediately! The question mark is quite happy (if a little unsure), and well able to do the job on its own.Stern Smile

"When the world belongs to distant dogs, and the air is dark and still, and drunken conversations pass beneath the windowsill. And there's someone singin' Elvis songs, as they make their way back home -- and all your fears and worries attack when you're alone.... Why don't we share the darkness tonight?" CryClap

I must admit that I dont see any feuding on this site, not serious stuff anyway.

We have the odd obnoxious interloper but so far only one of them has stuck around.Wink

Peter, your mood swings worry me.And you seem to take too much offence on behalf of others.

As for the old guard dwindling, I doubt if it is any different to any other forum.Max has just announced the 1000th member so some must be enjoying it!

Hug

Whoops. You know my style; there was originally a much longer run-on sentence after the quotes. I deleted the statement but missed the little dot at the end. Well spotted!

Now please tell me how to properly punctuate a sentence that ends in an emoticon !
