I thought I'd have a quick look through the collaborators to see who was active. The good news is the vast majority seem to submit reviews regularly. I noticed the following ones who haven't submitted reviews for a while:

The first thought is of course to hope that these collaborators are still well! (Marcelo and The owl appear to be OK, as they have accessed the forum recently).

Assuming nothing untoward has happened to them, why have the reviews stopped. Dave C submitted over 200 in about 4 months! Are you still there guys?

I have very few reviews, but I am trying to catch up and I have been busy recently!

The problem is that it's a big effort for me, and it takes a lot of time, writing a review... but I'm getting faster!

Yep, same problem. It usually takes me at least one hour to write a review, mainly because English is not my first language, so it's hard to find the right words.

I was thinking of becoming one as well. Are their requirments/jobs to do (other than reviews) for collaborators???

Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

Yes, that is a large part of the problem...  But we'll get there!

Thanks Easy Livin'

Nope, not necessarily. You just write good reviews on a regular basis (or at least you try to do so ). But a lot of collaborators have indeed written biographies (I myself wrote only two).

WiguJimbo, no problem if your english is not perfect, the idea is that you must have real general skills about the different prog scenes. Unfortunately it's not the case of a few "new coming" prog reviewers.

Yeah... I don't think knowing a ton about prog has ever been a prerequisite with collaborators.  When I came to this site, I pretty much just knew the major bands.  Yet I became a collaborator almost right away, and proceeded to sit back and watch as my knowledge of prog grew exponentially.

Yea, I think I can write some reviews. I need some time to think about it and then I'll write some for these albums (after I've listened to them GAIN of course):

Dream Theater- Octavarium

Abydos- Abydos

Pain Of Salvation- BE live dvd/cd

Porcupine Tree- Deadwing

Peter Gabriel- Plays Live

KOL, My suggestion would be you submit a reviews of these albums, and perhaps a few more, then contact M@X telling him the name and email address you submitted them under. He and Rony will then decide whether to promote you. If you submit any biographies, mention them too.

I just reviewed two albums, "Octane" and "Deadwing" on Progarchives as you can see on the website. Like them? Think I can be a good Collaborator/Reviewer?

And I also did a Bio for Pagan's Mind. Guys like it?
