I don't think there's such a thing as a voter dummy register.
I sometimes even watch Alex Jones, just to see what the crazies are doing
Counting friends, neighbors, co-workers and relatives, I probably know several hundred trump voters, I accept their farcebook propaganda feeds and listen to their concerns, discuss issues on local social media etc.
I no longer live in the USA, and of the friends and relatives I still have there no-one is a Trump supporter. my brother voted for him in 2016 but has woken up since. but there a some people I no longer am in contact with that I am certain are avid Trump supporters

I have way too many co-worker and neighbor trumpateers to let this be an issue, but I am ignoring a couple relatives for their enthusiasm and also anti-mask nonsense. I still accept their farcebook feeds though, I want to know what others are thinking.

@ Easy Money: So let me get this straight. You're basing your pool of reliable information manly on a hundred or so "co-worker and neighbor trumpateers"? Oh come on! I was asking about real information outlets. Please name them.

I can safely say that none of my current fb friends are pro Trump(at least not that I'm aware of). There were maybe one or two in the past but they took me off their friends list. I'm ok with that. Others I think took me off for reasons that I'll never know. Lol. Only the strong survive. ;) Also, about 80 percent of my current fb friends are prog fans. Some of those who left were prog fans though. Oh well. Anyway, for the most part I want nothing to do with the crazy or deluded either. I have my own craziness to worry about. The delusions I can hopefully keep to a minimum.

My upstairs neighbor of the past ten years is an enthusiastic trumpateer. We help each other out a lot and look after each other. Our friendship has been most valuable for both of us.

my old piano teacher died of Covid-19. she was a very fine woman. I ascribe that to Trump. but "over" as in "having an argument because of": no. my relation to my brother cooled off somewhat when I called him an idiot for voting Trump, but we are on good terms again since he came to his senses last year

It's sad that it has finally taken the insurrection at the capitol for people to finally get off the Trump bus. Everything else is ok but this is where they finally draw the line. Wow.

I disagree. It's just the fact that the Trump gravy train is running off the rails before entering the station for the last time. Time to jump off before they crash with it.

I think this is ignoring crowd psychology. White supremacists who weren't necessarily violent before are becoming increasingly so, and their number seems to be growing, especially after seeing that of thousands of violent insurrectionists only a handful have been arrested. Up until now, but even so. It must seem to them that the odds are in their favour, close to zero, in fact, especially if they start wearing masks and stop taking video clips of each other.
Yes indeed, the safety of the mob allows 'non-violent' people to be caught up in hysteria and do things they would never do otherwise. It doesn't take much egging on to trigger a full-on riot, and when you add the ready availability of firearms into the mix........

Thank you. Jeez! So either the BBC has got that wrong, or the USA now has a state of nationwide emergency but hasn't bothered to tell anyone? WTF doesn't even express half of it.
