and let me contribute.. since I was behind..not in front of.. the camera.

last weekend we met a long time family friend of Raff's visiting the states and his son who is teaching at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. It was colder than hell.. but man... we both love Baltimore and the food and Natty Bo's were great!! We did a walk around the harbor front and Fells Point.  (Absolutely love that area of Baltimore) The pictures don't do it justice and it seems I forgot to snap a picture of the very poignant Katyn monument to the Polish victims of the Russian massacre in 1940. I always make it point to pay my respects there when we visit. Very beautiful and very touching.

^^ I love that picture Timothy Leary,

Is it a sunflower? Detail shots like that always make Ansel Adams spring to mind

Great place down on the crooked river. We always stop on our way down to Malheur.

I'm a rock climber myself, so I visit for those reasons.

But it is a beautiful place, and all of those snow-covered peaks in the west are great to look at.
