I used to not like them, but now I do. I think that given time, anyone could appreciate them.

I think that's right... that's what my mate was saying anyhow.

I'm not sure if he was a full member.  I'll look it up.

Oh and he also knows Daniel O'Sullivan.  Interesting.

I knew Agalloch had some connection to Godspeed but I wasn't sure what.  Cool.

Yeah, I've watched an interview with Ben Sharp.  He sounds like a really down-to-earth kind of guy.  Just a common man who likes music and does it for a hobby, plain and simple.  Not even remotely interested in glitz or fame, just the music.

Apparently Cloudkicker is a friendly guy as well.

He won't ever tour though, obviously.

No doubt Tosin is a much more progressive/interesting guitarist, although as a whole I definitely prefer Cloudkicker's music.

:OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Ben Sharp is awesome and all, but Tosin...

I get the impression that most of the band members don't like how their band gets labeled or received by fans, but as far as I've heard they're supposed to be friendly towards their fans at shows and such.  At least Don Anderson is from what I can tell, Aesop seems to be a little more hard-edged towards the fans.  They're the only two I've talked to before, not sure about Jason or John.

I've been listening to various RIO/Avant groups via youtube all evening.  Now I'm on Stormy Six, and realizing (yet again) that I still don't own any of their albums.

I'm talking about real-life friends here.  We must be one of the few people in this town who known who Agalloch are. LOL

He hopes to get them a gig in Oxford at some point.  Yey!  I'm so there!
