Phaedra sounds absolutely gorgeous on vinyl...or maybe that's just my copyTongue
Great haul all around (maybe except for BSS which I've never managed to get into. The synth sounds in particular make me cringe -though sometimes in a good/funny way if that makes any sort of sense).

Well, Brain Salad Surgery is not a favorite of mine either, but come on, it would be a sin not to get it for 3 pounds. All around, this loot cost me 20 pounds, which is very good, I think. Smile Phaedra was only six, so that's kind of a deal. Inventions was pretty expensive for a CD, but, then again - I am ALotOfBottle and that is Inventions For Electric Guitar or a Manuel Gottsching album in general. LOL

Only one today, but what an album. So glad I've found this. It's a mint reissue, but it was only 9 pounds.  There was also Wurdah Itah with a much nicer cover, but I decided to go with this one for the music. I've found the best record store in London by far - Flashback records. They have a giant selection of prog, psych, and classic jazz. Man, what a nice store. And the staff is superior to other stores - they are not a bunch of phoney snobs, who only listen to soul/disco/funk singles, which was, sadly, sometimes the case.

The Woodstock Experience - Janis Joplin

And it didn't occur to me until now that I bought on the anniversary of her performance there.
