You are also right in that the sound quality of many reissues is excellent....I think I just like going to shops and finding an old record at a bargain. It's an old guy thing.
Wink

Nah....It's just a thing! I love going to record stores, there are a couple really nice ones in Tacoma on 6th Ave, I won't go to Seattle right now due to the hotbed of rioting going on whenever they want to, but there are some good ones there also. They all have tons of used as well new, so best of both worlds......Nothing like flipping thru records in the bins.
Makes me happy.....

Nice....check the LF versions, the US versions were all reissues in '73, nothing in US from '70. They were on some weird label like Billingford or something. If its German release then hopefully is from '70 on the Phillips label and depending on grading could be worth $200-$300 ea.

Unfortunately they are on Billingsgate, 1973, I have never seen a Lucifers Friend in an Indiana music store on Phillips. Now I have 3 of them....LOL, but they were $3 each and mint. I hope to trade for something else when I hit Indianapolis  later this month.

Can't stop listening to:

Magick Brother & Mystic Sister's new self-titled debut (Bandcamp)
and Anna Von Hausswolff's masterful collection of solo pipe organ pieces. (Also on Bandcamp.) Now this is what progressive rock music is ALL about!
Also incredible is Neon Heart's debut of modernized Krautrock. (Bandcamp)

New music is my addiction, Bandcamp is my dealer!
