Thumbs up or down on the episode.  I did hear one thing.. there was another WTF plot moment where D&D went not only completely away from the book plot but away from any plot any half way talented writer would ever dare think of.  sh*tty and completely assinine plot departures. That is what drove me away.. not the changes themselves from the book.   I saw it last night (we were out at a James Taylor concert on Sunday night so taped).  It was damn good. Started watching but got interrupted, so I tried to stream it on the network's web site, but the quality was so bad I gave up before the first scene was over, so I'm still as unsullied as you, micky. still hanging on.. though Terri's thoughts makes it harder still to maintain discpline and willpower. Two things I've always struggling with.  Oh I can't and won't watch it. I dropped HBO completely. The only reason we had it was for GoT. However I could still enjoy it vicariously through the forum and blog reviews. Still boycotting those and remaining unsullied.. but for how long? Hard to say...
