I was a little surprised that such a good song received such little enthusiasm. They probably played in a wrong club.

Its The Hacienda Manchester (England) I don't think its the club, its 1983 apparently, the year the 1st album came out so could explain why so few there and many may have not heard the songs yet. Still Mancs can be a bit cool sometimes. I saw The Fall same year same venue and it was great but then they're Mancs too.
