no vocals
guitar: Howe
keys: Moraz
drums: Bruford
bass: Squire

not really my perfect line up, but the thing I'd very like to hear. Instrumental Yes with this line up would be cool, thought I'm not really a Yes fan (except Relayer, that's a masterpiece).

Really? Not his strength in my opinion, I prefer him either angry or ambient.

Nice choice with Alan Parsons. Best audio engineer I know. Tales of Mystery and Immagination is an incredible album. Cost half a million to make. In the 70's that was a lot!!

That's the point. I wanna see him out of his element and see what he comes up with. I'd prefer him to take guitar cues from Stevie Wonder's keyboard output in 1976. Hey, I'm a kook.

Knopfler and Fripp in the same band would be a feast for the ears.

Gotta applaud that Clap that would be, at least, a top 100 prog album with just that. Alan Parsons would come up with a great concept to go off, Fripp on the lyrics, I always loved Phil Collins voice (before the solo stuff, of course).

Finally thought of what I think would be the perfect band for me
Jon Anderson: Lead Vocals
Robert John Godfrey: Keyboard
Steve Howe: Guitar
Francis Lickerish: Guitar
Chris Squire: Bass
Bill Bruford: Drums/Percussion
It's basically The Enid mixed with Yes.
Robert John Godfrey would be the main songwriter, but he would share it with the rest of the band as well.
