The structure behind the monument is a recycling facility in Windsor Ontario. It's not obvious, but it's a comment on the concept of recycling of the human spirit.

excellent pictures.
There is something so sad and compelling about abandoned buildings, these photos capture that very well.

Thank you both, there isn't anything else like being in a abandoned building, some are melancholic, others are impending and creepy. And some are so gutted and vandalized to the point of no interest.
