There's an artist called Florian Decros who make rock music who are pretty prog. Here his album Vango :

There's progressive elements, lenghty songs....
His songs are made in Guitar Pro.
He's 13 (pretty surprising)

He can be in the prog related section or eclectic. Just look at him yourself.

Hi there
I would strongly advise you to read this before suggesting bands for PASmile

Another thing. I listened to bits of his music, and while he does show some talent, it still comes across very amateurishly. I would hate for PA to turn into a place where every bedroom artist can be listed. We'd do nothing but add these kinds of acts from the moment we log on till forever really. There are sooo many of them, it's insane.

Prog Related is another issue altogether. For bands to be included there, they have to be suggested by a Special Collaborator to the admin team, and then there'll be a vote on whether the given act should be here or not. For a band to make it into PR though, they have to be influential and in some way have had their stamp on our much beloved genre.

Now the album Vango II is released on Bandcamp and Loudr :
And, I read the rules to suggest new artists, and all is correct.

Listened to the new album, and to be totally honest this just sounds like electronic 'chiptune' music in the main. I really don't think this is the kind of stuff any of our teams would be interested in to be fair, and I guess that's why nobody other than David (Guldbamsen) has followed the suggestion up. As he said before - there is undoubtedly talent here, but not the kind of talent that would fit in anywhere on our site, I fear. Sorry I can't offer any more encouragement than this regarding potential inclusion on progarchives...I'm just being honest with you - this kind of music just doesn't belong here - not even in Prog Related.

Is this your band?

Man you sound talented but I don't know if I would explicitly call it "progressive rock." I actually got myself included in the archives making music with only garageband, but mine sounded more like prog. I would continue making tons of music and find a band and continue to craft your sound and what you want to do.

I'm sure you'll get in here eventually. Just keep going! You're very young and obviously you're going to be a great productive musician someday! Thumbs Up
