Topic: A Pink Floyd Song VS A Jethro Tull Song Posted: November 07 2014 at 16:46 |
To Cry You a Song. Wonderful and off a wonderful album that nailed it in production and scope for the early years before the band grew colorful.

I don't think that The Wall has fillers. Even the shortest tracks have their meaning. |
I never cared for the Wall, an overrated album if there ever was one....imo of course. Perhaps 'filler' is the wrong word....lets use 'mediocre' instead.

Jethro Tull, To Cry You a Song.

One Of My Turns stands out on The Wall for me (probably cos most of the songs on there are deathly boring). Bit better than JT's - never a huge fan of Benefit, but I'll check it them both out again.

Really? It's probably my favorite Tull-tune and I wouldn't mind if it went on for a few minutes more. Fantastic riff! Can't really remember which Floyd-song that is exactly although The Wall was one of my very first favorite albums.

I gotta admit, I'm a little bit confused....sometimes it seems to me...... ......anyway, 2 songs I don't honestly like, by 2 bands I dearly love........ Go figure..............BTW, no vote.
