King Crimson, Cat Food.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.

I prefer the one rotting in miracle sauce.

to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

Absolutely not the same to me, both have jazz fusion elements KC even more so in comparison to both these tracks, only similarity might be the vocal approach of pampara papapara..., instrumentally I cannot hear a distinctive similarity.   Anyway a hug to you Hug BarryGlibb xxx

Thanks for the hug and the 3 kisses Kati. (Are you really the lady in your avatar?) I wouldn't want you to be a man hiding behind that image...........Anyway,........

the similarities on Cat Food and Come Together are in the basslines not the melodies (Cat Food IMHO doesn't have one; a melody that is; if it does, it's bad....... IMHO!) .

Come Together's bassline is not featured in Chuck Berry's song and is more to do with the similar melodies and the "Come on Flatop" lyric that they were sued for.

Hugs and Kisses back to you too Kati.

Can't think of any GG song that tops anything on the first 7 KC albums. Sorry.

For me, it's the other way round.

I used to dislike both bands intensely, but now GG are amongst my favourites. KC aren't.

Cat Food again! Don't care if it sounds like Come Together really, the worst part about it is the similar melody. Greg's laughter, Pete's lyrics, and Keith's piano are what really make it Smile

Another lack of originality of the Beatles laid bare, after the My Sweet Lord is So Fine-case against George Harrison: Big Seven smelled big money.
oh no that does not define The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club, to Revolver and The White Album! They were groundbreaking in every single way :) xxxxx
