Thanks for the hug and the 3 kisses Kati. (Are you really the lady in your avatar?) I wouldn't want you to be a man hiding behind that image...........Anyway,........ the similarities on Cat Food and Come Together are in the basslines not the melodies (Cat Food IMHO doesn't have one; a melody that is; if it does, it's bad....... IMHO!) . Come Together's bassline is not featured in Chuck Berry's song and is more to do with the similar melodies and the "Come on Flatop" lyric that they were sued for. For me, it's the other way round. I used to dislike both bands intensely, but now GG are amongst my favourites. KC aren't.
