I've been spending a lot of time lately listening to SoaD. When friends ask me to describe their sound, I can only answer Experimental/Nu Metal/Prog. Do you think System's music fits with a prog description?

I stopped at four links - there's plenty more where those came from.  Smile

^I know that this may come as a shock to you, but did you ever think that the people who posted 7 years ago are no longer part of PA?

Shock number two: That's why old post of are of no valve to me.

Totally irrelevant.

Shock number two: That's why old post of are of no valve to me.

Not shocking at all, but to claim that there is nothing to be learned or gleaned from older discussions strikes me as a tad arrogant.

^First off, that the opinions of new members that join PA almost weekly being irrelevant to you is quite shocking to me.

Secondly, if you find my disregard for discussions without my input to be arrogant, that is fine with me as you may be shocked to discover that I find your personal opinions to be irrelevant after contemplating your failure the grasp the afore noted.

Mr. Chairman, you may have the floor.

That's fine SteveG.  I've learned my lesson, I won't contribute to any more of your threads.

^Constructively contributing is one thing. I have no idea what to call your 'efforts'. And, I can assure you that they will not be missed.

His efforts are called "keeping the forums clean of duplicate threads." There was no reason to make a new threat debating whether SoaD is a prog band because there have many threads created on the topic already.
