Agreed. So many good choices here, but ultimately have to go with "Anesthetize."

By the way, on the most recent Steven Wilson tour, "Radioactive Toy" was an encore song. At least in Boulder, where I saw the show, the version done by the current band was fantastic. I don't know if any of the shows were recorded, but I would love to put may hands on a live recording if for nothing more the version of this tune done by this band.

I also heard Radioactive Toy on the same tour (on Mexico City), and indeed it was amazing. As far as I know, there's no video or CD release from this tour, but it would be great since he did a lot of killer versions of his songs (mainly... heavier). He did release the previous tour on DVD though, but I think the Raven tour was better (at least for what I heard on the DVD). However, if you can't get the latest tour version of Radioactive Toy, you may enjoy at least the version on Coma Divine, which is really great too... though not as heavy nor with flute or sax (I don't remember which instrument might have been added to that version). Still, I don't know the original version of the song, so I can't really compare them.

Million Years is On The Sunday Of Life - P Tree's Piper. Although given the morass of early releases before this more or less official debut that observation may not be clear. Big thumbs up to that unsung hero Alan Duffy the P Tree lyricist before SW learned to read and write so well...

Thought Buying New Soul would be here making the voting choice monumentally difficult... Instead it's just mildly impossible. Love the Recordings album - consisting of rejects (!!!) that make me wonder at their ability to compile an album. Spoiled for choice - what a problem.

Went for Burning Sky as the more recent and famous numbers would probably get more attention plus I think it is possibly the best example of the non virtuoso doing an exceptionally splendid piece of music.. I usually go for the more spacey and psychedlic of P Tree (although most material has awesome virtue). Strange As It Seems I did not vote for Radioactive Toy but just thought I'd mention the live album where that epic piece of wonder gets a nice 16 minute relaxed work out...

I love Burning Sky, but went with Anesthetize simply because it's incredible the band could still put out such good music after 7 albums.

How about "love songs" by Porcupine Tree? I am curious (yellow). I couldn't resist (and who gets the reference?).

None of the above, but Where We Would Be comes to mind.  Yeah it's not very long but it moves me.

Of that list....'Arriving Somewhere' , but there is an extended version of 'Even Less' that is one of my favorite long ones by them. Also a big fan of 'Dark Matter' from Signify which is over 8 minutes .

Yellow Hedgerow Dreamscape is my favourite PT track, it's not quite 10 mins long but it's close. From the list it's Moonloop.

Not overly long, but Not Beautiful Anymore is special too. I don't know what it is, but I can't rate any PT album below a 4 star. They are all excellent to brilliant. Fanboy alert !!!

(almost) ThisApprove
I prefer the 30+ minute version of Moonloop from Transmission IV.

Then again, I pretty much love every option in this poll.

Yeah, pretty much this.  At 10:25 Buying New Sould would have easily gotten my vote.

I'll give my vote to "Russia on Ice" but I highly recommend "Recordings" to the original poster as both "Buying New Soul" and the extended "Even Less" are required listening in my mind.
