An initial vote goes to The Night Watch

A great King Crimson's album indeed.

"The Mincer". Especially in light of this one concert where it was the centrepoint of a wonderful improv medley called "The Law of Maximum Distress".

I could have easily gone with Fracture, but I like Wetton's voice on The Great Deceiver, and the song is a simple pleasure in getting the album rolling.

Any of the last three will do.

I'll give it to SABB as it's voteless right now.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Difficult choice out of The Mincer, Bible Black & Fracture. I'll go with Fracture - there's just this killer riff in there which reminds me of Lark's Tongues.....

But the song "Starless and Bible Black", which appears on this album of the same name, is different to the song "Starless", which appears on "Red".

tetimneninewm lerirerilelilemlum.....
Sundown dazzling day
Gold through my eyes
But my eyes turned within
Only see
Starless and bible black

Ice blue silver sky
Fades into grey
To a grey hope that oh years to be
Starless and bible black

Old friend charity
Cruel twisted smile
And the smile signals emptiness
For me..........

Has to be Fracture, but The Night Watch is so close behind, it's just stunning.

Fracture is just so awesome. Brilliant playing by Fripp and awesome Improv by the rest around Fripps 'base'.
