I'm pretty sure they aren't making music any longer, at least not together. I shared some emails with them around the time they were added but haven't heard anything in years and their website has expired and been hijacked.
Not sure what became of Jacques Malinvaud but there's a dentist with the same name near Bordeaux so there's at least a chance he's the same guy.

It's been so long since I added this band (well, with the help of Clem)... I found them by accident and it was love at first hearing. I still listen to their music from time to time (like Après la Chute at the moment). They made all their albums available for free. First two albums are still available on Jamendo: https://www.jamendo.com/en/artist/552/chrysalide. And I fondly remember conversations with one of the members of the band - Geoffroy... But now their website doesn't exist anymore and I wonder what has happened with them... Time to give a shout: WHERE ARE YOU, GUYS?!! Old closed threads (a conversation with Geoffroy about the music of Chrysalide in the first one): http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=37659 http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=50009 |
