CTTE and Tales vs. Nursery Cryme.
... +1 for Yes.
TYA, CTTE, and Tales vs. FGTR, Trespass, NC, SEBTP, and Abacab.
... +1 for Genesis.
... No vote so far. This is gonna take a while.

Genesis.
They did 3 amazing albums and 4 very good ones.
Yes did 2 amazing ones, one very good one and a good one.
Everything after Wind & Wuthering and Relayer doesn't interest me much.

YES we are glutens for punishment voting for the 3rd place band. We should vote for politicians this way through a playoff system (not that it would make any difference ). Close call, but like Yes a tad more than the G-men.

Even though Genesis have a bit longer run of great albums through 70's than Yes.. Yes were more adventurous and rocked harder imo..and instrumentally, the strongest of all maybe. Then there is TFTO (The Prog Album)...who else but Yes would have dared to make such an album. Gem/Crap?? Thats for the individual listener to decide.. Yes it is.

Yes, but just a bit. It doesn't matter if it's Yes and Genesis during all of their career, or just the 1980's.

Would anybody care to discuss the entertainment value of Anderson's highly metrosexual bloomers?
