	Love this album and it's the only solo one I really like. IMO the best thing he did...with or without Yes.

	I didn't get a copy until recently and was disappointed. Love Wives, Journey, and Arthur.
	Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

	It's also among the last albums I got from him, and was rather disapointed too. I already knew The Prisoner, and I really like that one, plus I knew pieces of the music because of live albums, but specially what would be the side-long title named epic is just too disjointed to be wholly apreciated... some nice melodies from time to time, but it doesn't really hold as a whole piece... and even if I want to extract some of the songs that make up the epic... even then most of them are too disjointed. I enjoy much more the "medley" or abreviated version played live on the album "Out of the Blue", that one holds it's own much better, and I apreciate much more what I would call the main melody of the epic... so whenever I'm in a "No Earthly Connection" mood, I prefer to go for this one. Plus, it's played by the same line-up that did "Out There", one of my favourite albums by Rick, and this album is suposed to be some sort of sequel to "No Earthly Connection", so it's nice listening to this version of the piece together with "Out There".

	Great album. There's a touch of cheesiness but most of the album is top notch. Up there with 6 wives
	All I like is prog related bands beginning late 60's/early 70's. Their music from 1968 - 83 has the composition and sound which will never be beaten. Perfect blend of jazz, classical, folk and rock.

	I like this one more than Journey or Arthur. My tastes often change. I haven't heart Arthur that much.
