Out of the big 6 from british prog, this 4 guitar players lasted for one, or just a few albums before they were replaced by longer lasting and better known (nowdays) guitar players, so, which one do you like better?

Syd, obviously.
He looks at this world and wants it all... so he strikes, like Thunderball!

I've always been a fan of Mick Abrahams.

Peter Banks out of these.
Love the Yes albums with him and also Flash was a more than ok band. I'm not blown away, but still I enjoy listening every once in a while.

For guitar playing only, it's Peter Banks, but my heart is for Syd

I couldn't resist voting for Abrahams to square the poll up but of the 4 he is the only one I've seen live ( in a basement of a well known pub in Swindon!). Good player although more on the blues side of things rather than anything ground breaking.

Anthony Phillips. He laid the foundations of the Genesis sound, Steve Hackett improved it.

Anthony Phillips. His work with the 12 string is just sublime.
Welcome to the middle of the film.

Anthony Philips had a tremendous solo career after he left Genesis, but if I'm only taking the contributions of these musicians in their respective band in account, then Peter Banks gets my vote.

Anthony Phillips all the way, with Banks second.  Both had fresh sound yet Ant was more unique.
The world of sound is certainly capable of infinite variety and, were our sense developed, of infinite extensions. -- George Santayana, "The Sense of Beauty"

Anthony Phillips.

When he rides, my fears subside.
For darkness turns once more to light.
Through the skies, his white horse flies.
To find a land beyond the night.
